Tue Greenfort (b. 1973) is based in Denmark and Germany. He has participated in shows at Frieze Projects, London, Secession, Vienna, Witte de With, Rotterdam and Münster Sculpture Project 07.

Tue Greenfort is interested in ecological issues. In his work Closed Biosphere he has used water, algae, seeds and a PET bottle to cultivate a biotope, today six years old. The artist also shows this closed world in a blown-up format in the accompanying film installation Microcosmos, Closed Biosphere, which enables the viewer to study life in the bottle in microscopic detail.
